PROJECT IN PROCESS

CROSSWORD FAMILY QUILT 2009
The picture is my work in progress,
I drew each of the letters(lots of letters) while watching TV. Bag of scraps to the right of my chair and small cutting mat in my lap. Using all the ink pens I could find I began this enormous undertaking. I put the background on the bedroom wall (85x85).

I am sure this quilt will be a year or two to finish. It is a work of love, an heirloom for my daughter in law when I die. She is the only one I trust to love my quilts and take care of them. Yes Malissa, I mean you sweetie

.It is now 2012. I still do not have the time to finish this quilt. I really want too. I just moved into the trailer at Buffalo Valley near Talihina.I have been here since June 2011. camille

MISS KITTY

MISS KITTY
My what BIG EYES YOU HAVE. CAUGHT HER
LAZY DAY
MY QUILT HELPER. NOT!
Miss Kitty was born in 1995 around Spring time. Her mother was a stray cat with long black and white hair. She lived under my neighbors back porch with a huge litter. Miss Kitty had a least five other siblings.
When I decided to adopt her I watch for the litter to come out from under the porch and grabbed the first kitten I could. They were wild and fast. Lucky for me it was a female. Lucky for her she wouldn't be a stray anymore.

Remembering Past Quilts

this is my first clown quilt. for baby shower

This is my trip around the world quilt top. Not yet quilted. camille

Baby Grandmother Flower Garden. Made 1999,
for my first grandson Andrew, I pieced this whole quilt by hand because the blocks were so small. I didn't paper piece. I just cut out cardboard template and pieces then quilted by machine. It was his baby shower gift.

This is my grandson Raymond laying on my second Wedding Ring Quilt. He didn't want me to put him down. I have a picture of his daddy on the first one I made so I wanted him on this one.

This is the Q
uilt I made for my niece Jessica in 1993. I like Sun Bonnet Sue. I have made several in diffent themes. I like to make and design my own doll patterns for family quilts as gifts.
